Download and install the latest drivers from Nvidia's website. I would also install nVidia GeForce Experience, which makes it easy to update drivers in the future. If that doesn't work, completely uninstall all nVidia drivers and reinstall the latest drivers from them.

The library sync crashes over and over. I just uninstalled it and am going to stick with the Plex app for Kodi. This thing wasted 2 hours of my time trying to get it to work.

Apparently the project moved over to GitHub. I switched over to the Android app on my Android box sometime last year out of convenience, so I haven't messed with it in a long time.

Thank you very much for this post. Point 4 above did the trick for me. Direct output seems it does not work when you set number of channels to 5.1. As soon as I set it to 2.0 as suggested everything worked as expected.

I would reinstall Kodi and re-input the settings work here. If that doesn't work, try resetting the OS back to factory and reload everything back on the unit. Maybe something got corrupted on an SD card or it's just a fluke.
